Alvaro Bautista made his MotoGP debut in 2002 and in 2006 he won the 125cc World Championship. He then moved up to the 250cc class, where over three seasons he collected 28 podiums, including 8 victories, establishing himself as one of the most promising young riders on the international stage.

In 2010, he joined MotoGP, competing in over 150 Grands Prix and becoming one of the most experienced riders in the premier class. After two seasons aboard the Aruba Ducati Desmosedici GP, Bautista made the leap to the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) in 2019, finishing his first year with an impressive 16 wins, 4 second places, and 4 third places, totaling 24 podiums in 36 races.

In 2020, he joined HRC, contributing to the development of the new Honda CBR1000RR-R and scoring a podium finish, ending the season ninth in the championship. In 2021, still with Honda, he returned to the podium twice.

The 2022 season was perfect: back on the official Ducati of Aruba.it Racing, Bautista dominated the championship and was crowned WSBK World Champion. On October 28, 2023, at Jerez de la Frontera, he successfully defended his title, winning his second WSBK World Championship with Ducati.

Despite some challenges in 2024, he finished the season with four victories and 18 podiums, securing third place in the championship. In 2025, Bautista continued with Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, adding more wins and podiums, confirming his status as a top contender in the series.

In 2026, Alvaro will begin a new chapter with the Barni Spark Racing Team, ready to fight for new achievements and continue writing important pages in his WSBK career.
