Born in the province of Padova, Martina is a young and talented foil fencer and a member of the Italian National Fencing Team.
Despite her young age, Martina has already achieved prestigious results both individually and in team competitions. In 2023, together with three teammates, she became World Champion in the team event at the Milan World Championships, winning a bronze medal in the individual event just days before.
Her palmarès had already grown in previous years, but 2024 marked her true breakthrough. With consistency and determination, Martina triumphed at the Shanghai Grand Prix, achieving her third Absolute World Cup victory and confirming herself among the top fencers in the elite FIE GP circuit. The season concluded with her eighth career podium in World Cup and GP events, including her fifth of the year, thanks to victories in Cairo, a silver in Turin, and bronze medals in Paris and Tbilisi.
2024 also saw Martina make her Olympic debut in Paris. She reached the quarterfinals in the individual event, narrowly losing 14-15 to Canadian Eleanor Harvey, but bounced back to earn a team silver medal, falling only to the United States in the final.
The 2025 season began in excellent fashion: in the first World Cup event in Tunis, Martina immediately claimed her first individual victory, followed by a second gold medal in the team event at the Busan stage in South Korea. With a total of 12 career podiums, she established herself as one of the leading figures in international fencing and finished the year second in the FIE ranking.
With the 2026 season approaching, Martina is ready to aim even higher, with the goal of cementing her status among the top athletes in the sport and continuing to make important contributions to Italian fencing.
